Post-conference Educational Trip (draft)

In addition to the conference, purposed delegates will spend two days (November 6-7, 2019) taking tours around the middle Taiwan (Nantou). The educational trip is designed to include Ultisols with argillic horizon (clay accumulation in B horizon), udic soil moisture regium and broad leaf forest mixed with coniferous forest in subalpine forest (Chamaecyparis)-related sites seeing and tourist highlights. If you would like to participate in this trip, please make your applications before October 5, 2019. Min of participants 10 tourists are participate this tour. Early applications are recommended for confirmation possibility. Tour fees of over-applications will not be charged.

Time and place of departure: 07:30 AM , Just Sleep Hotel (near GIS Convention Center).

Return:05:00 PM; November 7, 2019; parking lot of Just Sleep Hotel.

12:30 pm- 02:20 pm       Lunch at aboriginal style restaurant.

02:20 pm-03:00 pm       Aboriginal dancing show and culture.

05:00 pm-06:30 pm        Bus to Xitou Nature Education Area (STOP #3), National Taiwan University (NTU). (http://www.exfo.ntu.edu.tw/sitou/eng/01about/default.aspx)
06:30 pm-08:00 pm        Dinner at the restaurant of Xitou Nature Education Area, NTU, which the elevation is near 1000 meters. We will stay one night here. This nature education area, an experimental station of NTU, is the most representative study site of forest ecosystem.
08:00 pm-midnight        Check in the Xitou hotel and free time.
